Tesla Lastgaller

Swedish web shop for Tesla Model Y accessories: cargo grilles, dividers and wiper blades.

Full disclosure: SealedReviews was first built for Tesla Lastgaller, by the same founder. It was our own shop that needed verified reviews at a sane price.

The journey

  1. Before: reviews.io

The shop collected reviews through reviews.io with a BCC address on its order emails. It worked, but cost more than a small shop needs and checked nothing about where the emails came from.

  2. Step 1: one BCC address

The shop's own order confirmation (sent from its Stripe webhook) got the SealedReviews BCC address and a schema.org/Order JSON-LD block with one OrderItem per product. No plugin, no app.

  3. Step 2: history imported

20 ratings (15 with text) were imported from reviews.io in one click. They keep their 4.8 average and are labelled 'Imported from reviews.io'; new reviews are marked Verified purchase.

  4. Step 3: widget and Google stars

The product page shows the SealedReviews widget. The shop writes the rating into its own product JSON-LD at build time from the public API, so Google sees one product with price and rating, and the widget runs with data-schema="off".
