Terms of Service

These terms apply when a business ("the Shop", "you") uses SealedReviews, provided by Guldstrand Utveckling AB (org. no. 559225-3909), Sweden ("SealedReviews", "we").

1. The service

SealedReviews collects reviews from verified purchases. You add a BCC address to your order confirmation emails; we verify each email, send your customer a review request and publish the reviews on a public review page and through a widget on your website. One account covers one shop domain.

2. Account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to an email address on your shop's domain. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure and for everything done through your account.

3. Price and payment

The service costs 99 SEK per month excluding VAT, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. VAT is added according to Swedish and EU rules. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from the next billing period after the notice period.

4. Term and cancellation

There is no binding period. You can cancel at any time in your account (Manage subscription). The subscription then runs until the end of the period already paid and is not renewed. See the Refund Policy.

5. Limits

Each shop can send up to 10,000 verified order emails per month and 500 per hour. Order emails above the limits are logged but no review requests are sent for them. Contact us if you need higher limits.

6. Your responsibilities

You may only send real order confirmations for real purchases to the BCC address. You must not create fake orders, offer incentives or rewards for reviews, review your own shop, or ask only satisfied customers. You are responsible for having a lawful basis under the GDPR to share your customers' email addresses and order details with us for review requests, and for informing your customers, for example in your privacy policy.

7. Reviews and moderation

Reviews belong to their authors and are published as written. You may reply publicly. You may remove a review only for a listed reason (spam, personal data, offensive content, wrong product, not a customer); removals are logged and shown as a count on your public page. We may remove reviews that break the law or these terms. Reviews imported from a file you upload are shown as imported by you and do not count towards your rating.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, sends fake or manipulated orders, or harms the service or its credibility. If an account is closed for breach, no refund is given.

9. Data protection

For your customers' personal data we act as your processor; the Data Processing Agreement in our Privacy Policy is part of these terms. For your own account data we are the controller.

10. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid during the last 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit or lost data.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law and disputes

Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by Swedish general courts, with Linköping District Court as first instance.
